Celebrating our past. Reimagining our future!

A Milestone Celebration
We were honored to celebrate our 75th anniversary with so many friends of WesleyLife. We celebrated our past with a walk through history and reimagined our future through discussions of how WesleyLife will serve in future years. A delicious lunch and great company plus giveaways and a dance break made for a fantastic day! We're excited to share our memories of the event with those who joined as well as with those who celebrated from afar.

The Movement of Life
Who - and why - we are
At our 75th Anniversary celebration, we were thrilled to unveil The Movement of Life. Even if you're familiar with WesleyLife, you may not be familiar with our beginnings, our evolution, or, most importantly, how and why our mission became a reality.
Watch The Movement of Life to learn about:
- The small idea that evolved into a sweeping mission that impacts 10,000 lives annually
- Why a focus on health and well-being drives every decision we make
- How we're impacting perceptions toward aging, now and in the future
So many smiles on this important day!
Hundreds of friends, family members, partners, and well-wishers joined us at Horizon Events Center in Clive, Iowa, on July 7, 2022, to hear from industry leaders and enjoy good food, fellowship, and more! The day's activities included:
- A walk through history, telling our story from pre-1947 through today
- Future-vision story walls that answered the question, What would I tell my future self?
- A retro phone booth that invited guests to leave messages about their WesleyLife connections. Listen now!
- A commissioned piece by Des Moines artist David Borzo that tells the story of all facets of WesleyLife, from inception to the current day

Impressions of the day
Memories, stories, thoughts - all important on this special day!
WesleyLife team member A.J. Christensen chatted with guests about their ties to our organization and their thoughts on this special occasion. Enjoy them, and maybe laugh a little, here!
Guests also had the opportunity to step into our Reflections Phone Booth and leave a "voicemail" recording of their favorite memories and stories about WesleyLife. Take a few minutes to listen!
Thank you again to our speakers!
