WesleyLife Announces Vaccine Requirement

Dear WesleyLife Team Members,

Since the COVID pandemic began changing the way we live, WesleyLife has worked tirelessly to help ensure the safety of those who have placed their trust in us. From leading the way in infection mitigation to providing and encouraging receipt of the vaccine, we have been steadfast in our commitment to the health of our residents, clients, and team.

We want to let you know that after weeks of discussion on the part of our organizational COVID task force, we have made a collective decision that as a condition of employment, all WesleyLife team members will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID by November 1, 2021. This decision applies to all WesleyLife vendors/partners as well. We believe the COVID vaccine is safe, effective, and our strongest mitigation tool against the spread of the virus.  

Your leaders will be providing you with additional information, including where and when vaccines will be offered in your location. Please note that we will consider exemptions for those who cite religious or medical reasons for not taking the vaccine, and forms will be made available for those individuals to complete. 

For the past year and a half, many of you have shown great courage and resilience in giving of yourselves to help keep WesleyLife safe. Our gratitude is ongoing, and we hope you will join us in welcoming this opportunity to protect your own health and the health of those we serve.
