The Village's Witte Receives LeadingAge Award - WesleyLife accent

June 2, 2021 | By

Robyn Witte, center, director of nursing at The Village, A WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living in Indianola, has been awarded the Excellence in Leadership Award by LeadingAge Iowa, an association representing not-for-profit aging services providers.

Robyn received the meeting at the group's fall conference in Cedar Rapids.

Jim Clindaniel, executive director of The Village, said in nominating Robyn that during her three years as director of nursing, she has become an essential member of the community's leadership team, transforming the way The Village manages its staff and serves its residents.

During her tenure with The Village, Robyn has doubled the campus's average daily census for Medicare patients, created a supportive team culture, implemented a mentoring program, and created clinical protocols that have been shared with hospital partners, Jim says.

Congratulations to Robyn! Your WesleyLife family is proud of and grateful to you.
