Fieldstone of DeWitt is the first WellSpire community to leverage financing from the USDA Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program. This financing makes it possible for the community to serve greater numbers of older adults and their families in and around Clinton County.
A New Kind of Senior Living
Fieldstone of DeWitt, a new kind of senior living for Clinton County and surrounding areas, replaced the Westwing Place campus in 2022. The 95,000-square-foot building on a 14-acre campus was developed on a foundation of health and well-being designed to enhance the lives of its residents, clients, and team members.
As a WellSpire community, Fieldstone of DeWitt offers the best of its parent organizations — WesleyLife, a leader in services and care for older adults, and Genesis Health System, the Quad Cities’ most trusted name in healthcare.

The Fieldstone project has been supported by a sizable capital campaign led by the DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation. This foundation provided an initial gift of $1 million and engaged with Clinton County community members and those in the surrounding area who have helped champion the development. The total cost of the project is estimated at $27 million.
