Independent Living at The Village

Active. Engaged. Pursuing the full richness of life. It doesn't just happen by itself. It's a choice those who live at The Village make. They choose to be passionate, not passive. They embrace being participants, not just spectators, wrapping their arms around opportunity and adventure. Because they know life is too much fun to let it pass them by.

There's so much to enjoy at The Village in Indianola, Iowa, you'll wonder why you didn't make it your home sooner.

  • Ranch-style townhomes, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, offer attached garages, sunrooms, and full basements. Many feature a commanding view of our centrally located pond and gazebo.

Playing tennisWe're the hub of active living for older adults in this area – a place where you'll find a rich, deep connect to the entire community of which we're a central part. We're located in a residential area between the Indianola Country Club and Simpson College. Villagers often use the college's tennis courts or go the country club for a round of golf.

Perhaps most importantly, you will notice how residents of The Village embrace and welcome their neighbors. It is a true "community" where you'll make many friends, and enjoy an atmosphere where neighbors willingly help one another and share their talents, interests and life experiences. It's a quality of life second to no other.

We decided to come to The Village because of the many amenities available to us. We love The Village fitness program and the availability of the excellent Simpson College tennis courts close by. Should the need arise, we would have various levels of continuing care. Also, The Village is not far away from our family members who live in Iowa, Missouri and Illinois.
