Community Enhancements Benefit City's First Responders accent

December 16, 2021 | By

Plans to enhance The Village, WesleyLife's Community for Healthy Living in Indianola, Iowa, are indirectly benefiting some of the city's first responders.

Heather Frank "Doing something for them is the least we can do to give back for all they give to our community when we have someone in need," Heather Frank, Interim Executive Director at The Village, said.

In 2022, WesleyLife will make a variety of campus improvements to The Village, and those changes will require the demolition of a vacant building that that sits on the property. The building has been used for a variety of purposes over the last several years, most recently for storage.

Village leaders reached out to the Indianola Fire Department recently to ask if the department would have any use for the building before it's demolished, and the department accepted the offer. Firefighters conducted training drills there this week.

Stay tuned for news about exciting updates to The Village and other WesleyLife communities and services in 2022!
