WesleyLife begins delivery of ready-to-heat meals

WesleyLife Meals on Wheels is offering a new delivery choice to meet the needs of older adults in Central Iowa: ready-to-heat options, with delivery beginning this morning to a select group of clients in the metro area. 

The new offering provides weekly deliveries in Polk, Dallas, and Warren counties of frozen chef-prepared, nutrition-guided meals that are easy to store and heat. With selections like vegetarian, low-sodium, and consistent-carb entrées, the service offers convenience, flexibility, variety, and peace of mind. 

New delivery option - same trusted service

The new meal option is offered alongside Meals on Wheels' longstanding daily hot meal service, which includes a friendly — and sometimes life-saving — well-being check with each delivery. The choice of a daily or frozen option ensures that older Iowans have access to the meals and support they need, in whatever way best suits their lifestyle.
