Governor's Announcement Prompts Adult Day Closure

As a result of the announcement earlier today from Governor Kim Reynolds that issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency in Iowa, WesleyLife today closed all its adult day services locations:

  • Lending Hands Adult Day in Washington
  • Willowbrook  Adult Day in Newton
  • Dahl Adult Day in Des Moines

The governor specifically called for adult day centers to cease operations in addition to businesses such as restaurants/bars, fitness centers, and theaters. The closures will last through at least March 31.

What we can offer our Adult Day clients and their families: WesleyLife at Home operates multiple services that may be of support to clients in their homes, including medical and non-medical assistance. Call (515) 978-2777 to learn more about available services.

WesleyLife will continue to evaluate this situation closely to facilitate the reopening of the centers as soon as possible.
