Read the Transcript of Cathie's Devotional:
The purpose of my life has changed with the season of my life. When I was a young girl I viewed my purpose as obeying my parents and teachers, (being a “good” girl). Then it was to do my best and graduate from high school. I was blessed to attend a Christian college and I was there that I merged my purpose to God with my purpose to worldly endeavors. My career as a social worker, marriage, children and church activities comprised my purpose until recently. Jesus defined purpose in Mark 12:30-31, “Love God and lover you neighbor.” I can now find purpose her at Edgewater by participating in Bible Study, church services, volunteering and interacting with friends.
