The class will incorporate education about the world of tap dancing as well as provide skills and exercise in a group dance class setting. You will learn basic steps and a short routine that we will present to family and friends on Wednesday, August 4<sup>th</sup> in a special recital with performances by local tap dancers and you! <p><span class="NormalText">Meet the man behind the magazine &ndash; Mike Chapman. In 2002, he retired from a 35-year career in newspapers and now publishes a new magazine called <b><i>Iowa History Journal</i></b>. The Journal is all about fascinating people and events in Iowa history -- from Buffalo Bill to the Everly Brothers, from Herbert Hoover to Nile Kinnick. Mr. Chapman has written more than 20 books and one of his titles has been sold to Hollywood! Book sale and signing to follow program.</span></p>

<p><span class="NormalText"><span style="color: black">With </span></span><span style="color: black"><a target="blank" href="http://www.bonesforlife.com/"><span class="NormalText">Bones for Life</span></a></span><span class="NormalText"><span style="color: black">&reg; (BFL) training you learn to align your spine with its innate design and to protect its vulnerable joints from injury. Then, later, while literally &ldquo;using your head&rdquo; to sustain bone-strengthening loads, you learn to walk once more as nature intended, allowing yourself to lengthen as you strengthen, and improve how you move. </span></span></p>

The HBO Alzheimer's Project provides an in depth look into the scientific advances being made in research and medical understanding of the disease.&nbsp; The course will include segments providing insights from those who suffer from the disease, the family members who must cope with the devastating effects of the disease, and the unique challenges and pressures faced by those who serve as a caregiver to a person with Alzheimer's Disease. </span></font></font></font></b></h1>

The band plays what they refer to as &ldquo;highly-caffeinated&rdquo; klezmer music &mdash; a mix of Yiddish and Hebrew melodies combined with Dixieland, avant-garde jazz, and a touch of Spike Jones.
