Rob Kretzinger Elected to AAHSA House of Delegates — 

Rob Kretzinger Elected to the House of Delegates of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging


Des Moines, IA–  Rob Kretzinger, President and CEO of Wesley Retirement Services, Iowa’s most comprehensive senior health and lifestyle provider, has been elected to serve as a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA)  House of Delegates. The 200-member House of Delegates is AAHSA’s governing body and is made up of leaders in the long-term care and aging services field. Delegates elect the members of the AAHSA board of directors and its officers, and also assist the AAHSA board of directors in clarifying association policy, long-range planning and governance of the association. Kretzinger will serve a three-year term.

Minnix, AAHSA’s President and CEO.  “Kretzinger’s hard work and expertise will help ensure that America’s older adults receive the services they need, when they need them, in the place they call home.”

 

Rob Kretzinger has been President/CEO of Wesley Retirement Services, Inc. since May, 2003, after serving the previous 7 years as the Vice President of Operations/COO.  Mr. Kretzinger received a Masters of Science degree from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, in Studies in Aging and Health Care Administration.  He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Gerontology.  He has served on several state and national not-for-profit senior living trade association leadership committees, as well as receiving a Presidential appointment to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging, a national think tank and policy development effort that has met every ten years since the Eisenhower Administration.
