Adult Day Services
For adults requiring assistance, support and involvement with others during the weekday, WesleyLife provides Adult Day services in Newton and Des Moines. WesleyLife's Adult Day Centers have vibrant environments that sincerely embrace older adults and their needs.
Our staff members get to know each participant - learning about their talents, hobbies and abilities. This information is then used to create an environment where people shine. We work with each individual and his or her family to customize a program that fits his or her needs - providing the encouragement, support and care to help each of them stay independent and active in mind, body and spirit. At Wesley, our philosophy is to strive to keep older adults engaged in life. This philosophy is the core value that makes every Wesley program special.
To stimulate mind and encourage spirit, our Adult Day services provide robust programming. Community speakers, cooking classes, creative arts projects, exercise and music are just a few of the activities available for participants.
At WesleyLife, we understand that attention to physical health is paramount, which is why balanced meals and snacks are prepared with dietician supervision and individual dietary needs are met. Individual wellness plans are also created for each participant – including health and medication monitoring, specialized activities and therapies.
